A voice recording method in a mobile communication terminal and the mobile communication terminal thereof are provided to store voice signals of both sender and receiver in one file by using a bit rate change of a variable speed vocoder, and to reproduce the signals when necessary, thereby recording voices of both sender and receiver. A variable speed vocoder compares bit rates individually corresponding to a coded first digital voice signal and the second digital voice signal inputted for decoding(S205,S210). Based on the compared results, one of the first and second digital voice signals is selectively stored(S215). The stored digital voice signal is reproduced. |
