A light diffusing plate for a backlight unit is provided to produce a multilayered light diffusing plate having improvement in light transmitting property, light diffusing property, and weather-ability, by using a pattern for improving light scattering efficiency and light condensing efficiency. A light diffusing plate comprises a base layer(200) and a coating layer(210). The base layer has a light incidence surface and a light exit surface facing the light incidence surface. A first scattered reflection pattern(202) having a predetermined average roughness is formed on the light incidence surface to diffuse light. The coating layer is integrally formed with the base layer, or physically separated from the base layer. Lenticular patterns(212) are formed on the coating layer to diffuse light. A second scattered reflection pattern(214) having a predetermined average roughness is formed on a surface of each lenticular pattern. |
