An automatic message transmission method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to be capable of transmitting an automatic response message to a sender if a call is received, so that the sender can recognize a receiver's circumstance. An automatic response message is inputted and stored(S11). If a call is received, a sending telephone number provided with the call is checked(S13,S17). The call reception is notified to a user by using a predetermined call reception notifier(S19,S21,S23). If a key signal for performing an automatic response mode is inputted, the call reception notification is interrupted, and the stored automatic response message is transmitted to a sending terminal having the sending telephone number and demanding the call(S31,S25,S27).
