摘要 Provided are a transition metal compound which is able to allow a monomer to be more easily approached and stably maintain a solid pentagonal ring by a phenylene bridge, and a catalyst composition comprising the same which shows high activity when being applied to copolymerization of a monomer with high sterical inhibition at high temperature and is able to prepare a polyolefin copolymer having high molecular weight and ultra-low density of less than 0.910g/cc. The transition metal compound is represented by the formula(1), wherein each R1 and R2 is independently H, a C1-20 alkyl, a C6-20 aryl, a C2-20 alkenyl, a C7-20 alkylaryl, or a metalloid radical of a group 14 metal substituted with C1-30 hydrocarbyl, the Rl and R2 may be bonded together by an alkylidene radical containing a C1-20 aryl or alkyl to form a ring, each R4s is independently H, a halogen radical, or a C1-20 alkyl or aryl radical, and at least two of R4s may be bonded together to form a fused ring, R3 is a C1-20 alkyl, aryl or silyl radical, a C1-20 alkenyl, alkyl aryl, or arylalkyl radical, or a metalloid radical of a group 14 metal substituted with hydrocarbyl, M is a group 4 transition metal, and each Q1 and Q2 is independently a halogen radical, a C1-20 alkyl or arylamido radical, a C1-20 alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, alkylaryl or arylalkyl radical, or a C1-20 alkylidene radical. The catalyst composition comprises a transition metal compound represented by the formula(1) or (2) and at least one co-catalyst compound selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the formulae(12) of -[Al(R7)-o]a-, (13) of D(R7)3 and (14) of [L-H]^+[ZA4]^- or [L]^+[ZA4]^-. To prepare an olefin polymer, the catalyst composition is contacted with a monomer.
