A mobile communication terminal having a power detector stabilization device for removing impedance change of an antenna and a stabilization method thereof are provided to prevent output change of a power detector from occurring when impedance of a terminal antenna is changed by peripheral environmental change to make power of the antenna flow backward and added to forward power of a transmitter, by using a duplex impedance table. Temperature of a mobile communication terminal is measured at certain time(t.sub.a), and a frequency of a transmitter is checked(S100). A loss value of a duplexer corresponding to a temperature to frequency is brought from a memory(S200). The second switch is connected to a port B to measure power at the certain time(S300). The loss value is subtracted from a power value(S400). A power detector changes the power and the loss value into voltages, and sends the voltages to a CPU(Central Processing Unit)(S500). The transmitted voltage values become voltage values of the terminal(S600).
