A composition for transdermal drug delivery is provided to improve pain alleviation effects by improving solubility and increasing skin penetration of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug(NSAID) with a solubilizer and sticky polymer having no hydrophilic functional group, and reduce skin irritation. The composition for transdermal drug delivery comprises 0.1-20 wt.% of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug(NSAID), 30-90 wt.% of a sticky polymer having non-hydrophilic functional groups, 0.5-30 wt.% of a hydrophilic solubilizer, and 0.1-40 wt.% of a solubilizing agent, wherein the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug(NSAID) is ibuprofen, ketoprofen, flurbiprofen, feno-profen, naproxen, piroxicam, tenoxicam, isoxicam, melo-xicam, indomethacin, aceclofenac or diclofenac; the sticky polymer having non-hydrophilic functional groups is acryl-based adhesive of acrylate polymer or vinylacetate acrylate copolymer, or synthetic or natural rubber or silicon-based adhesive of polyisobutylene, polystyrene, polybutadiene or copolymer thereof; and the hydrophilic solubilizer is C2-C20 multivalent alcohol, polar aprotic solvent or surfactant.
