CURRENT DETECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INVERTER

A current detection apparatus of an inverter and a method thereof are provided to assure minimum time required in current detection by correcting pulse width of a pulse width modulation signal. A three-phase switch(21) controls current flow by on/off of a pulse width modulation signal. A current detector(22) detects current flow of the switching unit. A controller(30) flows a current through the switching unit by correcting a reference voltage of the pulse width modulation signal when the current flow detected by the current detector is not enough.
