A message management method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to be capable of transmitting messages stored in the terminal to an e-mail server through an SMS(Short Message Service) server or to a printing server, thus important messages can be kept as e-mail or printing materials. Subscriber information of a mobile communication terminal is checked on the basis of a telephone number of the terminal by receiving the number from the terminal. If backup of a predetermined message is requested by the terminal, the delivered predetermined message is stored(S11-S21). A background image list is requested by the terminal(S23). After the list is delivered to the terminal, a random background image is selected(S25,S27). The selected image is synthesized with the received message, and the message is stored(S29). The stored message is converted into an e-mail type. The converted message is delivered to an e-mail server by referring to an e-mail address of the checked subscriber information(S31).
