A vehicle curtain air bag system is provided to achieve improved air tightness by joining a housing for accommodating an inflator through a screw and using an elastic packing in the housing. A vehicle curtain air bag system includes an inflator body(1) and a housing(2). The housing includes a male housing(3), a female housing(4), and a sealing member. The male housing includes a cylindrical body(3a) and a neck part(3b). The cylindrical body has an outer surface with a screw part(3d), and an internal space for accommodating the inflator body. The neck part has a diameter smaller than that of the cylindrical body, and accommodates a signal connection body(1d) of the inflator body connected with an inflator signal line. The female housing includes a cylindrical body(4a) and a neck part(4b). The cylindrical body of the female housing has an inner surface on which a screw part(4d) is formed, and an end of the inflator body is positioned in the cylindrical body. The neck part of the female housing has a smaller diameter than the cylindrical body of the female housing so as to discharge the gas discharged from the inflator body to a diffuser. The sealing member includes first and second pressure sealing units formed at the male housing, and a third pressure sealing unit formed at the female housing.
