A garment for a motorcycle rider is actively heated or cooled using a closed loop pumped fluid circuit comprising a garment 9 having fluid ducts 12, a fluid reservoir 14, a pump 16, and a heat exchanger assembly comprising fluid heat block 7, Peltier thermo-electric element 1, heat skin 8 and fan 17.
