A colored asphalt concrete for road pavement comprising color quartz and color pigment is provided to express uniform color and to improve performance of the color asphalt concrete used for elegant appearance and/or pavement of the road by comprising color quartz based pebbles, sands, filler and asphalt containing pigment with the same color with the quartz. The colored asphalt concrete generally includes 45-55wt.% of color quartz based pebbles, 15-20wt.% of color quartz based sands, 25-30wt.% of color quartz based filler and 5-7wt.% of asphalt containing color pigment. The pigment in the asphalt has a content of 7-13wt.% relative to total weight of the asphalt and the same color as the color quartz. The pebbles have fineness of 13-19mm while the sands have fineness of less than 5mm. The filler has fineness of less than 13mm.
