An aloe composition for macrophage activation or anticancer is provided to improve the processing convenience, and increase physiological activity including macrophage activation and anticancer effects by optimizing the molecular weight range of MAP(modified aloe polysaccharides). The aloe composition for macrophage activation or anticancer comprises the MAP(modified aloe polysaccharides) having molecular weight of 5-400 KDa, wherein the aloe is aloe vera; the composition is a pharmaceutical or health food composition; and the MAP(modified aloe polysaccharides) is prepared by extracting powder of aloe gel treated with cellulose with ethanol, centrifuging the extract of aloe to obtain the aloe polysaccharide precipitate, and subjecting the aloe polysaccharide precipitate to chromatography.
