A portable terminal is provided to form a pad in airtight type, in order to prevent external moisture and foreign substance from permeating into the inside of the portable terminal. A case(32) is installed on a body. Key buttons(34) are exposed to the outside of the case. Switches(38) generate signals by being mounted on a substrate(40). A pad(42) is attached with the key buttons, and presses the switches according to operation of the key buttons. The pad is formed in airtight type to prevent external moisture and foreign substance from permeating into the inside of the body.
