摘要 An apparatus for fabrication of carbon nano-tube based probe using a metallic vessel as an electrode is provided to control electrophoresis time and carbon nano-tube length by dropping carbon nano-tube dispersion to the metallic vessel, placing a tungsten chip on the surface of the dispersion and combining the nano-tube with the vessel through electrophoresis. The apparatus consists of: AC/DC powder supplier to apply AC or DC pulses; a tungsten tip combined with carbon nano-tubes, which receives power source from the power supplier; and a metal vessel connected to the power supplier, which comprises a current meter for measuring current, contains a carbon nano-tube solution therein and that has grooves on inner wall and is used as an electrode. The metal vessel is in a hemi-spherical or conical form. The carbon nano-tube solution contains thin multiple layers type carbon nano-tube, or single layer, double layers or multiple layers type carbon nano-tube.
