A fluorescent lamp, a back light unit, and an LCD including the same are provided to enhance heat-radiating characteristics by increasing light transmittance to a color filter. A fluorescent lamp includes a lamp body(210) and a color material layer(220). The lamp body is used for receiving a fluorescent material and discharge gas. The color material layer is formed on a surface of the lamp body. The color material layer includes red, green and blue colors. The color material layer is formed of fluorescent materials including the red, green, and blue colors. The color material layer is formed on the surface of the lamp body by using a printing method, a dispensing or spraying method. An ultraviolet shielding layer(230) is formed on an outer surface of the color material layer.
