An FSC(Field Sequential Color) LCD device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent blur due to element characteristic by implementing first and second TFTs having a half size of a TFT of a conventional FSC LCD on a pixel region. An FSC LCD device includes plural pixel regions in a matrix form. Each of the pixel regions includes a first gate line(GL1), a second data line(DL1), first and second TFTs(TFT-1,TFT-2), and first and second pixel electrodes(116a,116b). The first gate and second data lines define a pixel region(118). The first and second TFTs(Thin Film Transistor), which share the first gate line, are connected to the first gate line. The first and second pixel electrodes, which are connected to the first and second TFTs, define first and second sub-pixels, respectively. The pixel regions are driven by a field sequential color driving scheme.
