A method for cutting liquid crystal display panels and a method for fabricating liquid crystal display panels by using the same are provided to improve the productivity by reducing time required for cutting the liquid crystal display panels, and prevent damage of the liquid crystal display panels due to dummy glasses while preventing mother glasses from being caught by the dummy glasses accumulated on a conveyor belt. A pair of mother glasses having a plurality of panel areas is bonded with each other. Cut provisional lines are formed at the mother glasses. A transfer device(160) includes a body(165) absorbing a liquid crystal display panel(110) for transferring the liquid crystal display panel, and a plate(163) attached to an edge of the body for moving up and down, separately from the body. The transfer device separates the liquid crystal display panel from peripheral dummy glasses(112).
