APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT OF SQUEEZE OUT

An apparatus and a method for measurement of squeeze-out are provided to adjust the amount of discharge of glue in real time by being mounted to a triple X attaching apparatus to automatically measure the squeeze-out and transmit the measurement result to the triple X attaching apparatus. An apparatus for measurement of squeeze-out includes at least one camera(111), a lighting apparatus(112), a measuring jig(110), a frame grabber(121), a squeeze-out output unit, and a communication unit(124). The camera photographs an image required for measuring the squeeze-out. The lighting apparatus maintains a predetermined intensity of illumination so that the image photographed by the camera is not affected by external lighting. The measuring jig is attached to a triple X attaching apparatus, and fixes the camera and the lighting apparatus to a measuring location. The frame grabber converts the image photographed by the camera to a digital signal. The squeeze-out output unit outputs the squeeze-out from the digital signal obtained from the frame grabber. The communication unit transmits the squeeze-out output from the squeeze-out output unit to the triple X attaching apparatus to control the amount of discharge of glue.
