A mixed beverage containing onion juice and citrus juice is provided, which can be applied to a food composition and pharmaceutical composition for lowering blood pressure. The mixed beverage contains 60 to 80 parts by weight of onion juice and 20 to 40 parts by weight of citrus juice. The onion juice and citrus juice have each a concentrated solid shape or liquid shape. The mixed beverage is used as a pharmaceutical composition containing a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and an additive selected from a lubricant, wetting agent, sweetener, flavoring agent, emulsifying agent, suspension agent and preservative. The pharmaceutical composition has a daily dose of 0.001 to 150mg/kg body weight.
