OPTICAL SHEET AND BACK LIGHT UNIT USING THE SAME

An optical sheet and a backlight unit using the same are provided to correct deviation of a view angle of lights emitted from a prism sheet by forming diffusion sheets having a plurality of diffusion patterns diffusing the light in two or more directions. A backlight unit includes at least one or more light sources for generating lights. A light guide panel receives the lights emitted from the light sources for converting the lights into surface light sources. A lamp housing fixes the light sources and condenses the lights emitted from the light sources to an incident plane of the light guide panel. A reflector is formed under the light guide panel for reflecting the lights. A prism sheet is formed on the light guide panel for condensing the lights emitted to the light guide panel. At least one or more diffusion sheets(300) have a plurality of diffusion patterns(333a) formed on the prism sheet for diffusing the condensed lights in two or more directions so as to have different strengths.
