<p>A method for making imitation leathers from a number of layers of different compsns., using waste leather and/or cellulose, esp. waste from shoe uppers, consists of: refining raw materials in dry mills with calibrated screens; wet-shredding in a disc mill followed by programmed recycling through refiners; programmed continuous dosing and mixing of additives and binding agents to form a paste; spreading of the paste onto two continuous drainage cloths; application of the strips formed on these drainage cloths together to form a single layer; final forced drainage, squeezing and drying.</p> |
