A system and a method for keeping/controlling a foodstuff storage using RFID are provided to automatically and optimally keep/manage food stored in the foodstuff storage by attaching an RFID tag storing a kind, an available period, and production, distribution, storage, and consumption information of the food to a storage container. A reader(22) reads the information stored in the RFID tag(11) attached to the storage container(10) in a contactless mode. A controller(21) enters an automatic keeping mode according to the kind of the food and sets an automatic alarm corresponding to the available period by a reading result of the reader, and performs an automatic order according to shortage of the food and an after-service request. A wireless transceiver(25) transmits the automatic order and the after-service request through the mobile network. The controller stores a CRP(Continuous Replenishment Program) for automatically ordering the food and stores location information of the foodstuff storage. |
