A method and a system for guiding insurance subscription are provided to increase a probability of a user taking out an insurance by recognizing a location of a user's mobile terminal and introducing insurance goods suitable for the user through an SMS(Short Message Service). An insurance goods information database(110) stores information of the insurance goods classified into each location category. A location recognizer(120) recognizes the location of the user mobile terminal(165). An insurance information extractor(130) extracts the insurance information of the location category corresponding to the recognized location from the insurance goods information. A message transmitter(140) transmits a short message including the extracted insurance information and a callback function to the mobile terminal of the user. An insurance subscription controller(150) effects an insurance to the user by receiving confirmation click responding to the transmitted short message from the user. |
