A slide type mobile terminal is provided to effectively use various multimedia services by enabling a display unit to be maintained at a certain slope angle when the second slide is slidably moved on a curved surface. The first slider(20) is combined with a front surface of a main body(10) such that it can be slidably moved along a lengthwise direction and includes a recess-type mounting part(23) formed by opening a certain portion of its front surface. The second slider(30) is combined on the mounting part and slidably moved along a widthwise direction and includes a display unit(31) for displaying various image information. A bottom surface of the mounting part of the first slider includes a certain curved surface part(23a) formed to be recessed in a widthwise direction of the first slider. The second slider includes a curved surface part(30a) corresponding to the curved surface part of the first slider. When the second slider is opened, it makes a slope face at a certain angle.
