A bi-directional swing phone for indicating a swing direction is provided to minimize damage to a swing hinge generated by an erroneous manipulation of a user in swinging a swing phone. A hall sensor(10) senses magnetic force of two magnets(20, 30). A lighting controller(60) selectively lights indicator lights(40, 50) according to an output waveform of the hall sensor. The first magnet is provided at the second swing part facing the hall sensor provided at the first swing part in a state that a swing phone is closed. The second magnet is provided at a path along which the hall sensor is moved when the swing phone is swung in the first direction from the second swing part. The lighting controller determines a swing direction by the number of pulse signals or a level of the pulse signals included in the output waveform of the hall sensor.
