A data line driver and a method thereof, and a display device having the data line driver are provided to prevent reduction of a driving current and an erroneous operation of a gate driver by adjusting the slew rate of an output signal. A data line driver includes a digital-analog converter(300), a bias voltage generator(401), and an output buffer(200). The digital-analog converter generates an analog voltage corresponding to inputted digital image data. The bias voltage generator outputs plural bias voltages, whose voltage levels are adjusted in response to a control signal. The output buffer buffers an analog voltage, which is outputted from the digital-analog converter, based on the bias voltages. The slew rate of an output signal from the output buffer is adjusted based on the bias voltages from the bias voltage generator.
