A method for controlling a receiver's telephone operation by using a CID(Caller ID) function is provided to enable the caller to control operation of the receiver's telephone when a call is received in the receiver's telephone, so that the receiver can easily know the caller. When a caller calls, control information consisting of numerals at the back of a telephone number is additionally inputted. A caller's telephone sends a call to the inputted telephone number(S110). A receiver's telephone corresponding to the inputted telephone number receives the call(S120). When the receiver's telephone receives the call, operation of the telephone is controlled through the control information(S130-S170). |
