A journal paper storage box capable of moving a shaft is provided to effectively design the size by horizontally moving a journal supply roller and a journal recovery roller in an inverse proportion relation according to the thickness of journal papers wound around the journal supply and recovery rollers. A journal paper storage box capable of moving a shaft in an ATM(Automated Teller Machine) is composed of rollers(31,32) wound with a journal paper to horizontally move shafts(33,34) in the journal paper storage box according to the winding thickness of the journal paper; a pressure sensor for measuring thickness pressure of the journal paper wound around the roller; and the shafts supported and connected to the rollers and horizontally moved along a shaft moving rail(35) installed on the surface of a frame of the journal paper storage box.
