An apparatus for packaging a protective sheet of a metal coil is provided to remarkably reduce generation of scraps of the protective sheet by connecting the protective sheet according to various widths and outer diameters of coils. An apparatus for packaging a protective sheet of a metal coil includes a circular chute, first and second link chutes(121), a chute rotating motor(130), a movable truck(140), and a coil winch(150). The protective sheet is introduced into a lower inlet of the circular chute. The first and second link chutes are varied so as to reduce the outer diameter of the protective sheet. The chute rotating motor provides power to rotate the first and second link chutes in one direction. The chute rotating motor is mounted to the movable truck. The movable truck travels along a first rail so that the circular chute and the first and second link chutes can be horizontally moved toward the coil. The coil winch lifts and lowers the coil so that the protective sheet in the circular chute can be inserted into the outer peripheral surface of the coil. The coil winch is positioned on a second rail so as to be horizontally moved toward the circular chute.
