LIGHT GUIDE DEVICE AND BACK LIGHTING MODULE HAVING THE SAME DEVICE

A light guiding device and a backlight module for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) comprising the same are provided to reduce the loss of light during a mixing process of several lights emitted from a plurality of light emitting diodes, by forming the light guiding device to have a light mixing part for uniformly mixing the several lights. A light guiding device(20) mixes several lights emitted from a plurality of light emitting diodes(10R,10G,10B), and guides the mixed lights to an LCD panel(2). The light guiding device comprises a plate type light guiding part(22) and a light mixing part(24). The light guiding part is disposed at the rear of the LCD panel. The light mixing part is integrally formed with the light guiding part. The light mixing part includes an incidence surface adjacent to the light emitting diodes and a light mixing region(24b) for mixing several lights passing through the incidence surface.
