Provided is a mattress sterilizing and washing apparatus that has a sterilization/washing room where a target mattress is easily put in, so as to completely wash the surface of the mattress and to effectively sterilize various harmful organisms living in the mattress. The mattress sterilization and washing apparatus(100) is constituted by a sterilization/washing room(200) and a machine room(300), which are separated by a partition plate(110). The sterilization/washing room(200) has a mobile load frame(500) to facilitate placing of a mattress(S) therein, and a guide rail(450) installed on both sides along which a moving object(400) reciprocates. A plurality of rotatory brushes(420) are provided to the moving object(400), and a ventilation pipe(430) with ventilating holes is formed in front and backsides of the rotatory brush(420). A steam pipe(600) with steam holes is formed on each corner of the sterilization/washing room(200) to sterilize a washed mattress(S).
