A display panel and a plastic film for an electronic paper display, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the transmittance of light and effectively prevent the permeation of gas. A plastic film is used for a display panel and an electronic paper display device. The plastic film includes a plastic transparent film and a gas barrier film formed on a surface of the plastic transparent film. The gas barrier film consists of a multi-layered inorganic layer having three or more layers. The layers of the multi-layered inorganic layer are formed from the same inorganic derivative.
