A test-cycle calibrator for a hydraulic Brinell hardness tester is provided to improve performance of the tester, enable an accurate test at low cost, and improve convenience of use by being easily attached and detached to/from the hydraulic Brinell hardness tester. A test-cycle calibrator for a hydraulic Brinell hardness tester includes a hydraulic sensor(120), a timer(112), a control unit(111), and an output unit(115). The hydraulic sensor is provided in the hydraulic Brinell hardness tester, and measures a hydraulic value during a hardness test. The timer calculates a time value. The control unit controls starting and ending of a time value measuring operation by using an amount of change of hydraulic value transmitted from the hydraulic sensor, and calculates an indentation velocity and a dwell time by using the time value measured in the timer and the hydraulic value transmitted from the hydraulic sensor. The output unit outputs the indentation velocity and the dwell time measured in the control unit. |
