An apparatus for cooking a barbecue is provided to efficiently cook the barbecue by using a gear and a rotary plate. An apparatus for cooking a barbecue includes a case(9), a rotation section(3), a direct fired furnace(5), and a drive section(7). The rotation section is rotatably provided in the interior of the case to vertically rotate the barbecue and then cook the barbecue. The direct fired furnace is provided at the bottom of the case to generate heat. The drive section rotates the pair of rotation sections. The case is formed of a transparent material and is formed of a tempered glass so that the interior of the case can be seen from outside. The case has a ceiling(11) to seal an upper part thereof. A chimney(13) is mounted to the ceiling to efficiently exhaust smoke to the inside of the case. |
