A base substrate, a method for separating the same, and a fabricating method of a plasma display panel applying the same are provided to reduce deformation of patterns due to thermal deformation caused by performing a baking process. A base substrate(400) is prepared to trim a first substrate(401), a second substrate(402),... an n-1th substrate, and an n-th substrate. A plurality of discharge electrodes are patterned on the base substrate. The base substrate is trimmed in a direction perpendicular to an arranged direction of the discharge electrode in order to separate the first substrate, the second substrate,..., the n-1th substrate, and the n-th substrate from each other.
