An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to reduce an area where a domain boundary occupies without a loss of an optical effect such as a viewing angle by forming a reflection unit with domains fewer than that of a transmission unit. A first substrate faces a second substrate and is separated from the second substrate. A plurality of pixel regions(P), each including a transmission area(TA) and a reflection area(RA), are defined in the first and second substrates. A plurality of first unit electric field distortion units are repeatedly arranged in the transmission unit to form a first domain structure. A plurality of second unit electric field distortion units are repeatedly arranged in the reflection unit to form a second domain structure. The second domain structure has the smaller number of domains than the first domain structure. A liquid crystal layer is formed between the first and second substrates.
