A vibration preventing device for a scroll compressor is provided to absorb excessive shock through an initiation torque by a grommet when initiating the compressor and prevent fatigue brake when the compressor operates normally. A vibration preventing device for a scroll compressor includes an upper grommet(43) supporting a base plate in close contact with a bottom surface of a casing and supporting the compressor, an upper grommet cover(41) positioned between the upper grommet and the base plate for preventing vibration break of the upper grommet, a dispersion piece(45) in close contact with lower cut surface(44) of the upper grommet positioned between the upper grommet and a lower grommet(47) for dispersing force transmitted from the base plate, and the lower grommet supporting the upper grommet and secondarily absorbing the vibration dispersed by the dispersion pieces.
