A mobile terminal having a main window protection unit is provided to lengthen the life span of a main window, maintain a clean screen, and use the main window as a mirror by covering the upper surface of the main window in order to prevent the generation of a scratch due to contact with an external substance. A mobile terminal, which consists of the first main body and the second main body(120), comprises a main window protection unit(210) and a fixing unit. At the second body(120), a main window(124) is mounted. The main window protection unit(210) covers the upper surface of the main window(124) installed at the second main body(120). The fixing unit fixes the main window protection unit(210). At one side of the main window protection unit(210), a half mirror layer(212), so large as to cover the main window(124), is formed.
