A UV-setting ink-jet ink containing at least color materials, UV-polymeric compound, and photo-induced polymerization initiator in a water-based medium, wherein the concentration of oxygen dissolved in the ink is 0.1 to 2 ppm at 25 DEG C. This structure of this invention can provide UV-setting ink-jet inks which can always be ejected normally regardless of long continuous uses and an ink-jet recording method using said inks.
