摘要 Provided is an electrode for a fuel cell, which realizes high water-repellent property even in the presence of a smaller amount of binder as compared with conventional electrodes, and maximizes the utilization efficiency of a supported catalyst. The electrode for a fuel cell comprises a catalyst layer comprising a support, a catalyst and a binder, wherein the support has a specific surface area of 500 m^2/g or more, and the binder contains 0.5-50 parts by weight of a fluoroethylene propylene copolymer based on 100 parts by weight of the combined weight of the support and the catalyst. The binder optionally further comprises polytetrafluoroethylene or polyvinylidene fluoride. The electrode optionally further comprises a surfactant.
