<p>A camera module socket includes a metal shell that defines a square or rectangular enclosure, which receives a digital camera module. An insulative terminal support member is disposed in the bottom of the socket and has a series of slots, each of which contains a conductive terminal that is bent upwardly into the socket interior. The shell has a plurality of spring arms stamped in it so that they project into the socket interior to contact, ground and retain the camera module in place.</p> |
