An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) for controlling viewing angle is provided to achieve an accurate narrow viewing angle by compensation corresponding to individual pixels of main panel, by applying a viewing angle control panel including electric controlled birefringence pixels at positions respectively corresponding to the pixels of the main panel. A first liquid crystal panel(400) includes a plurality of first pixels. A second liquid crystal panel(300) includes a plurality of second pixels, and includes liquid crystals driven by a vertical electric field to control a viewing angle of light transmitting the first liquid crystal panel. A timing controller(500) applies corresponding pixel data to the first liquid crystal panel and the second liquid crystal panel according to a wide viewing angle mode or a narrow viewing angle mode selected by a mode selection signal applied from the outside.
