摘要 A method for manufacturing a bottom substrate of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to reduce the number of masks and the manufacturing cost. A substrate(30) is offered. Patterned first metal layer(32), an insulating layer(34) and a semiconductor layer(36) are formed and the first metal layer is interposed between the insulating layer and the substrate. The second metal layer(42) is formed on the semiconductor layer. A photo resist layer is coated on the second metal layer. The photo resist layer is patterned by a photo lithography manner and, at this time, the first thickness is different from the second thickness. The second metal layer and the photo resist layer are etched and the third thickness is different from the fourth thickness. A polymer layer is coated on the patterned second metal layer. The polymer layer is cured so that the plane layer is formed. The plane layer is etched so that a portion of the patterned second metal layer is exposed. A patterned transparent layer is formed on the plane layer and the patterned second metal layer.
