A mobile terminal having a keypad battery pack is provided to allow a user to changeably use keypads of various designs by detachably attaching a keypad battery pack to a terminal body. A terminal body includes receiving part(113) and a display panel provided on a front surface thereof. A keypad battery pack(120) includes a keypad(125) mounted on a front surface thereof and a battery(124) provided therein, and is detachably installed in the receiving part(113). A locking knob(111) fixes the keypad battery pack mounted in the receiving part and is formed at a corner of a lower end of the receiving part so as to be combined with a fixing recess(122) formed at a lower end of the keypad battery pack.
