An inspection cap-cum-flushing pipe valve for a water supply pipeline is provided to clean up the inside of a water supply pipeline by inspecting the inside of a water supply pipeline and placing a cleaning pig in a water supply pipeline, and to prevent the occurrence of noise and vibration and the instability of a pump feed system by preventing cavitation while cleaning a pipeline or feeding water at ordinary times. The inspection cap-cum-flushing pipe valve(1) for a water supply pipeline comprises a valve main body provided with an inlet(2) and an outlet(3) making water flow in and out, flanges(6,7) connecting to each water supply pipeline(5), a cleaning pig cleaning the inside of an upper water supply pipeline, a slot(8) observing the inside of the water supply pipeline and a thread(9) inserting a packing(10) and fixing a cover(11), a pressure control plate(14) inserted to a space(12) of the slot to be fixed with a packing(13) tightly and reciprocated vertically along an internal wall of the slot according to water pressure in the valve main body, a stopper(15) formed on the lower part of the slot of the valve main body to prevent the excessive descent of the pressure control plate, a pressure control spring(17) installed between the pressure control plate and the cover to apply elastic force to push out the pressure control plate downward, and an air vent(26) formed on the cover to make air flow in and out. |
