A digital broadcasting receiving terminal and a method for improving receiving sensitivity of the digital broadcasting receiving terminal are provided to improve digital broadcasting receiving sensitivity by amplifying a received digital broadcasting signal by using a plurality of amplifiers. A digital broadcasting receiving terminal includes a wireless communication unit(22), a digital broadcasting processor(23), a memory(26), and a controller(27). The wireless communication unit processes an audio signal from a main antenna and transmits an audio signal to the main antenna. The digital broadcasting processor demodulates and decodes a digital broadcasting signal received through the main antenna or a diversity antenna. The memory stores programs for controlling the digital broadcasting processor to measure receiving sensitivities in a digital broadcasting mode and performing the digital broadcasting mode with the highest receiving sensitivity among the measured receiving sensitivities. The controller controls the operation of the digital broadcasting processor.
