A submerged flat membrane module which prevents an adhesive from infiltrating into an inner flow path of a module frame, and reduces the damage possibility of a membrane generated in a boundary layer of the adhesive and a surface of a flat membrane is provided. In a flat membrane module comprising a flat membrane unit body, and a module frame, a submerged flat membrane module is characterized in that the flat membrane unit body includes a module member(510) having protrusions formed at both sides thereof to enable the flat membrane unit body to be formed by adhering a flat membrane(130) and a supporting body(110) to each other, and a groove is formed in the module frame such that the protrusions formed on the module member can be inserted into the groove. The module frame protects an adhesion face of the flat membrane unit body and the module frame because adhesion between the flat membrane unit body including the module member and the module frame is not exposed to the outside of the module frame. A distance between an inner wall of the module frame and an outer surface of the flat membrane unit body is 0.5 to 1.0 mm.
