Provided is a spin finish for spandex which is used in the spandex fiber of 100-240 denier to improve the uniformity of physical properties of final product by reducing the ununiformity of tension between the layers of package caused by high elongation. The spin finish comprises 70-99.8 wt% of polydimethylsiloxane having a viscosity of 7-50 cS; 0.1-15 wt% of amyl-modified siloxane; and 0.1-15 wt% of polyether-modified siloxane. Preferably the polydimethylsiloxane is represented by the formula(1), wherein R1 and R2 are independently H, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C30 alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted C6-C30 aryl group; and n is an integer of 5-100. Preferably the amyl-modified siloxane has a viscosity of 1,000-15,000 cS; and the polyether-modified siloxane has a viscosity of 100-2,000 cS.
