PURPOSE: A variable displacement swash plate compressor is provided to improve productivity by simply joining a swash plate with minimum number of parts without using a rotating body. CONSTITUTION: A compressor includes a cylinder(40) with a plurality of bores(42) formed thereon; a front housing(32) and a rear housing(34) having the cylinder plated therein, and forming a crank chamber, a suction chamber and a discharge chamber; a driving axis(50) supported by the cylinder, the front housing and the rear housing to rotate; pistons(44) installed to the bores to reciprocate, respectively; a swash plate(60) connected with the pistons and peripheries of the pistons by a pair of shoes(46); a hub(70) having at least one hub arm(72) protrusively formed toward one side of an inside wall of the housing, and joined to the swash plate; a driving force transmitting device(90) transmitting rotary force of the driving axis through the hub to the swash plate; and a supporting device(80) interposed between the hub arm and the inside wall of the housing to support rotational movement of the swash plate. |
