A scrap crushing apparatus is provided to perform supplying and crushing of scraps and discharging of processed scrap consistently by removing foreign materials during the crushing process easily. The scrap cutting apparatus includes a bringing conveyor(1), a feeding roller(3), a crushing chamber, a vibration sensor(8) and a foreign material outlet. When the vibration sensor(8) detects vibration exceeding a first reference value inside the crushing chamber, the bringing conveyor(1) and the feeding roller(3) are stopped. When vibration exceeding a second reference value is detected within a watch time after a predetermined waiting time elapses, the foreign material outlet is open. When the foreign material is discharged, the foreign material outlet is closed and the bringing conveyor(1) and the feeding roller(3) rotate. |
